Archangel Michael Gives us a Sneak Peek into our Week

2015 in retrospect and what to expect in 2016

Good morning!

It’s another Monday morning in January.

By this point in the post-Christmas-first-month-of-the-calendar-year, I usually feel like January is 48 f*cking days long.

This year is no exception, to be honest; it’s been utterly helpful that the sun came out yesterday. When I say that we’ve seen mere minutes of sunshine this January in our little corner of British Columbia, I’m only just barely exaggerating.

This week’s card reading is based on Doreen Virtue’s “Archangel Michale Oracle Deck”

The message this week surrounds honouring our truth.

It seems a bit like platitude to say, “honour your truth”, doesn’t it?

To say such a thing fails to acknowledge that there are repercussions that come from truth, which is why so many of us fail to honour our truths to begin with.

The results of your truth might be downright disappointing for people — especially if Life is guiding you to make a 180 and change your direction.

But denying this truth in order to avoid letting other people down doesn’t make it any less true,

We cannot control how our truth will be received. But our lives will be richer if we move in the direction of it anyhow.

I think that these particular cards cropped up this week, not only to tell us that we need to live our truths, but that there is deep Universal support for us when we do so.

Perhaps we will lose friends and lovers when we become all that we are meant to be; we are absolutely at liberty to mourn these losses and hope that one day these people will find their way back to us.

Perhaps truth would have us move to a new home or start a new business venture.

These changes are undoubtedly as scary as they are exhilarating. No question.

I have found, however, that while denying truth leads to illness and depression, stepping into it leads to support.

Perhaps you will lose one friend but gain another.

Sometimes the perfect book or social media post hits you up and says just what you need to hear when you’re dying to hear it.

Be brave, sweet friend.

Take tiny steps toward truth.

Life rewards us when we do.

with love and magic,

Erin
