Awesome People, Doing Awesome Things: Episode 1 (Kinda)

Boy, it’s been a hot second since I last recorded an interview for Awesome People, Doing Awesome Things…

Haven’t been here since 2014? (and therefore have zero idea what I’m talking about)?

Awesome People, Doing Awesome Things is reason I have a YouTube Channel…

I wanted to interview the people I knew who were doing rad shit, making cool art, impact their corners of the world.

I did an interview my brother-in-law, Jeff about his (then) new album, followed by my friend, Katie talking about her education at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School ,

And that was kinda it…

It wasn’t because I don’t love the format or the subject matter.  There are very few things on planet earth that I love more than talking to people about the things they’re most passionate about.

I just got distracted by other cool things (like coaching rad women and making digital courses for my school, ClumsyGrace University)

If you follow me on socials, you’ve probably heard me talk lately about the fact that our three-year-old son was recently diagnosed with epilepsy.

As the dust begins to settle, my son requires round-the-clock care. It’s all fun and games til somebody has a seizure. And now… I’m not entirely sure what my business model looks like.

I DO, however, have a continued desire to talk with people who are doing cool shit.

Hence, the redux of APDAT (clunky acronym. must adjust.).

I put the first call out for interviews to my monthly membership group, The Make Your Own Rules Club (not a member, why the eff not? It’s only $11.11 CAD/month for super high quality group coaching. No brainer)

Jess was the first to sign up! Rapture!!

Without further blah blah-ing on my part, take a look at this interview we did. She’s the co-owner (with her husband and kids!!!) of Midnight Myst Lizardry.

I learned a TON about lizards and ethical breeding and husbandry (which was a word I had heard but did not know in any way).

If you’re an awesome person who does an awesome thing* and wanna school me on it, drop me a note using this form

*(a business, non-profit, cause, craft, hobby, WHATEVER)
