Clumsy DJ – California Playlist

By the time you read this, I’ll already be lounging by the pool

(and by lounging, of course I mean swimming with my kids and not having a moment to read my book).

We’re headed to our fave vaycay spot in the Coachella Valley in a few days so I thought I’d leave you with a really fun playlist that sets the holiday mood (even if you’re not planning on leaving your own backyard).

Some of them are as cliche as you would expect and others are from bands who sing about Cali (but not their California song in particular).

Springbreak in Cali:

  • Dedicated to the one I Love – The Mamas and the Papas
  • Tequila Sunrise – Eagles
  • By the Way – Red Hot Chili Peppers
  • Beverly Hills – Weezer
  • Goin’ to California – Led Zeppelin
  • California Girls – David Lee Roth
  • California Girl – Chilliwack
  • Hollywood Nights (Live in San Diego) – Bob Seger
  • Lodi – CCR
  • Unknown Legend – Neil Young
  • Ventura Highway – America

Posting will be abbreviated while I’m away, but I’ll be sure to check in from time-to-time and I’ll defs debrief you when I get home.

Love you, miss you, appreciate you, talk soon
