Collaboration Makes it Happen

It ain’t easy living this artsy-fartsy-creative-high-vibration-yoga-teaching-life.

It can get a bit isolating, sitting at a laptop day after day. I’m of the opinion that we have to support one another and work together whenever possible, if only just for the excuse to blow dry my hair and put on shoes on the same day.

To that end, I spent the bulk of my day today at my friend, Angie’s house, working with her on her new website (be sure to check it out soon! it’s gonna be killer awesome). Angie is a massage specialist/reiki master/super-talented bodyworker extraordinaire. She’s living her dream, right out loud and I couldn’t be prouder.

Needless to say, I came back from our meeting (after my son defecated to such an extent that the meeting had to be over) inspired and energized and psyched to take on my own projects with renewed vigor.

Earlier on today, I sent this message, via text to another friend who’s on the precipice of adding some really wonderful new services to her wheelhouse as well:

The ego world makes it seem like stepping into the life of your dreams is this big, scary deal. All you have to do is start gradually transferring your income to that which fulfills you. Just a little at a time, baby. Once you see how simple it is, the gates will open. I promise you.

It’s really easy to see the brilliance and potential in our friends, isn’t it.

Here’s a tidbit I’ve been thinking about today:

The more we bless and prosper one another, the more blessings and prosperity we make way for in our own lives. The more we encourage each other’s dreams, the more Life encourages our dreams.

bless

It’s math. (Maybe not like actual math, which has never been my forte. More like hippie math, with which I am very well acquainted.)

If you’re feeling stuck in your work or your progress or you feel like your dreams have halted, get out there and see what the rest of the world is up to. Help someone else take steps toward his or her dreams. It’s invigorating and it will inspire you.

Also, it’s fun.

I really promise,

Er xo
