Why are you REALLY Still in That job you HATE?!

Why are you REALLY still in that job?

The one that feels about as creative as shredded wheat?

The one that pays you a fraction of what you feel you should earn?

The one in which you feel choked out by your office casual clothes or restrictive schedule or COMPLETE LACK of living up to your potential?
Is it because of the proverbial golden handcuffs?

Because the benefits rock?

Because the holidays are too good to let go of (because you’ve already devoted FIVE OR TEN OR TWENTY OR MORE of YOUR precious years to accrue that much time off)?

I’ve been there

I’ve felt that

And so have my clients.

Don’t get me wrong. Not everyone hates their day job. I know not everyone desires self employment.

And not all of my clients have quit their unsatisfactory jobs in favour of it yet either

BUT let me tell you what HAS happened for the ones who act out of love and curiosity, rather than fear:

* while working on their businesses (even if it’s on a lunch break or in the evening) and keeping their day jobs, they feel less trapped, less powerless, and more like their current situation is an investment in their future (rather than 40+ hours a week to be endured indefinitely)
* They feel a renewed sense of purpose because they’re acting from a place of passion and service and creativity rather than committing more fiercely to their fear and apathy

Look. I know this post isn’t for all of you.

If you love your job and the company for which you work, that’s so awesome

If you go to work every weekday feeling fired up and challenged, that’s amazing

If you are already actively taking steps toward moving into a new role or company or stage of life that you’re super fired up about, then KEEP GOING! I’m so proud of you

BUT

If YOU are one of the unhappy fakers out there, you need to know that…you don’t fool me.

I see your quiet desperation

I hear you fooling yourself that this is enough for you

And IT IS NOT ENOUGH

I have tried to fool myself into thinking I was someone who settled before so there’s very little you can do to distract me OR YOUR OWN SOUL from the fact that you are fighting against the TRUTH and it is causing you suffering

PLUS it’s robbing the people you love of the full richness that is you in your calling

NOT TO MENTION all those who would be served by your greatness.

Change is scary

I know

Your comfort zone is comfortable (albeit tight in the crotch and kinda itchy)

But you don’t have to do it alone

And if you desire to be empowered in the direction of online business (my current passion due to the massive volume of women I see putting off their dreams of actually DOING THINGS and shrivelling like so many unwatered flowers) then my new digital course, Techy Business Stuff (for Creative Women who Hate Techy Business Stuff) might just be the thing that cracks you open and gets you FINALLY moving.

I beg you.

You are too smart

Too shiny

Too magical

Too IMPORTANT

to shrivel under the harsh glare of your fear and apathy.

Time is running out

For all of us.

#SorryNotSorry

I love you too much to watch you continue to waste your days unchecked.

So this is your love kick right in the proverbial corn hole.

Whatever it is. Do it now. Do it tired. Do it scared. Do it broke. Do it anxious. But do it every day and get help if you need it.

And if you’ve been looking at the posts for this course and being like, “I’m gonna start a website someday” then to you I say

FUCK. SOMEDAY.

With so much love,

Love Your Job, Work Online, and Become Tech Savvy

Register for the course HERE.

We start April 18th

We’ve already begun in the Facebook group.
