I was overwhelmed by the support I received from so many of you parents out there yesterday when I shared my sleepiness. Baby son and I did a bit better last night, though I’m not sure I’ll be winning any pageants today. I’m so grateful to this community and all of you who faithfully read my little column.
We had one hell of a busy week in our house. That, coupled with the fact that it snowed like the dickens last night is gonna make for a bit of hibernation in our family today.
A second cup of coffee, a hot shower, board games, dinner with my parents before they leave for Vegas to see Elton John at the Colosseum (assholes).*
Today is a great day to get ready for the New Moon and all the opportunities it’s promising. If you feel like you’d like to get some rituals going to let go of what you don’t need and invoke that which you’d like to manifest, check out Gala Darling’s article on simple New Moon rituals. I’m personally thinking of taking the grand step of having a bonfire with a bunch of old journals on Tuesday night. I always bought them with the intention of using them to work on new material and ended up writing sad things about boys. Time for a fresh start.
Wishing you a restful and happy Sunday, dear Readers – filled with naps and snuggles and walks in the snow.
*Editorial Note: my parents are not actual assholes. They’re very nice people, even though they’re going to see Elton John without me.
