Writing Challenge, Day 10 – in which my cup runneth over

If I could even begin to tell you how many times my expectations have gotten the better of me…or of how many times I’ve been accused of expecting too much from this life. Surely it would fill a novel.

Wait a sec…

In all seriousness, I’ve had my hopes up and dashed many times before and this, my dear reader, is not one of them.

This is one of those beautiful moments wherein life has far exceeded any expectation I may have deigned to have.

I’m talking specifically about the feedback I’ve received thus far in regards to the posts I’ve been writing about my 365 day Writing Challenge.

Of course, this isn’t specifically or exclusively about writing. I’ve heard from those of you who are working on a long-term athletic endeavor, a creative project, trying to move past a habit that no longer serves you. What we’re really talking about is maintaining long term changes in our lives.

When I sat down to write my first post of 2015 and commit myself to writing every day, what I hoped was that we would bolster one another and inspire one another. Some days, we could perhaps pick one another up from having stumbled.

I believe that the momentum we create by supporting one another’s dreams is what changes the world for the better.

Dreams

Thank you all so much, from the bottom of my heart for sharing your hopes and pitfalls. I will continue to do the same and create a safe community space for us to do so.

It’s all I hoped for and more.

Blessings,

Er xo
